While visiting the northern part of Arkansas, a local recommended that we stop by the neighboring Mill Bakery in Harrison. After spending the night, we made a quick stop on our way out of town. The sourdough bread came highly recommended, so we ended up getting two loaves and a few cinnamon rolls for breakfast. The cinnamon rolls were absolutely delicious and perfect. However, the bread was not what we had expected - it was much heavier than we were used to. Although we didn't love the bread, we made the most of it by cutting it into small pieces, seasoning them, and toasting them for tasty crumbs. My wife and I were on our annual trip to Branson to start the Christmas Season. About an hour into the trip from Fort Smith we started talking about a late lunch. She said what about Neighbors Mill Bakery Cafe in Harrison. We both had been there several times in the past but not recently. We sure were glad we did. The soup and sandwich that we both ordered were excellent. The staff was very helpful and very attentive. The smell of fresh bread in the Bakery is so amazing. We of course had to purchase some pastries as we left and hit the road to Branson.
The inviting and warm atmosphere greets you as soon as you walk in, with a delightful aroma filling the air. The sandwiches are fresh and bursting with flavor, while the soups are rich and comforting, served with freshly baked bread. The salads feature crisp, green greens and a delicious dressing. During our drive home from Branson, my family and I decided to stop at this restaurant for lunch. one of the best family funds in harrison, arkansas. my wife and I love going to the mill of neighbor because her eating is great, her service is great, her cleanliness is great, the choice is great. I love her rueben sandwiches. She loves her salad cup. try them out! big brot too! pick them up early enough to get the blue berries muffins.
Everything was fresh and delicious! Very cute little place! I had the 1/2 Honey Pecan Chicken Salad Sandwich and the Potato Bacon soup. I had the Pumpkin Muffin for dessert! My husband had the French Dip Sandwich with the same Potato soup and cookie for dessert!
enjoy sandwiches blt and rueben. all were good with fresh ingredients and broth. I would rather be sour wort, but my preference. the desserts and baked looked delicious! the service was fast. casual eating in a simple environment.

The food at this restaurant is wonderful especially for the cafeteria style that it provides. The restaurant is very popular with the locals and they are busy from opening to closing. There is also a bakery.
