Nellies Place - Tisch resevieren

This restaurant is well-known for its thin crust pizza, although the quality can be inconsistent on certain days. I'm particularly fond of their Elkin chicken wings, which have a unique spice rub that keeps me coming back for more. Some days I find myself craving them! The menu offers a great variety, and the food is both high-quality and flavorful, with generous portion sizes. Their soups are also excellent. It can get quite crowded at times, but the drink selection is impressive. We tend to visit about once a month and have noticed that the same familiar faces are often at the bar when we drop by. It's a true local gem!

I absolutely love the food at Nellie's. The service was decent tonight, although there are times when they seem to be understaffed. Fortunately, tonight was not one of those times. The outdoor seating area was lovely, but unfortunately, the only available spot for us was right in the sun, so we chose to move inside. Everything was great overall. The only downside was the acoustics; it can get quite loud in both the dining room and the bar at times.

Their crust is outstanding! I had the veggie pie with bacon, no cheese : I'm sure the cheese brings it all together and makes it the famous pie it is. It had lots of fresh veggies, just needed more seasoning- again it's probably in the cheese I can't have. Even still it was delicious, fresh and perfect crust.

The pizza here is fantastic and it's a convenient meal option for the entire family. However, I believe they should remove the rugs, as it would give the restaurant a fresher atmosphere.

Vegans and Vegetarians beware. The dough is made with lard, pig fat. We confirmed this with an employee. Great place but I wish the Vegetarian pizza could be made without lard in it.
