"NEW ADDISON" right across from Erskineville Town Hall. Generous serving of seafood in their Laksa with the spiciness i like. Theres a pretty tempting selection of Chinese dishes here also on their menu wall, but ive come here twice now with a Laksa craving as its the only one on Erskineville Road that satisfies that need. $15 well spent.
This place came out of nowhere on my way back from watching footy at the pub. A very extensive menu. I went for something with dry noodles. Not fancy inside or outside. It was very tasty and definitely hit the spot. The place and menu is perfect for a late night bite.
The establishment may not be fancy, but the food is excellent and the staff are efficient and friendly. We particularly enjoy the sweet and sour soup, which is a delicious and affordable option for a mid-week meal. Just keep in mind they only accept cash.
There are many great Asian food options along King St. There is a dumpling restaurant on North King called Dumpling Hut, and Newtown's best Chinese restaurant, Good Wok, can be found on South King. However, New Addison is just average in comparison. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
When the restaurant says your order will be ready in 5 minutes, they truly mean 5 minutes! The fried wontons and chow mein are delicious, but the other dishes are just okay.
