This is a great find. Although it looks old, the food and service are 5 star. This is a classic “old-school” diner with a counter with stools and booths. A few tables are available too. The diner is situated on the airport and some of the tables have views of the planes taking off and landing. There are also skydiving as well. If you don’t get a table with a view, it’s only a short walk to the viewing area for the takeoffs and landings. Free parking is available. Came here and my server was Ray. I finally got to try this tiny diner, and I loved it! For a place so small, the layout makes it feel more spacious with booth dining as well as table seating. I was surprised by how many menu options there were! I ordered a special: a brie grilled cheese with fig jam and apples. It was delicious! And you can't beat the low prices. There are a few windows in the way back with the booths, so if you're lucky enough, sit there! It's cool to see the planes take off/land. Great place overall and you get the bang for your buck!
We've door dashed from here a few times, foods always great. So today we stopped into this charming little spot for some lunch. I wish I had stuck to doordash. The place is absolutely filthy. The more you look around, the more you notice the neglect. Which makes sense, since the server sits with her feet up. Ants all over the syrup, the blinds covered in dirt and ketchup.... By the time we got our food, I couldn't even touch it. Such a shame. Imagine how great they could be if people just picked up a rag??
The waiter Ray was great, very attentive, happy to be serving and just generally pleasant person. It was raining but, when it isn't, you can see small aircraft taking off and landing. A great place to bring kids. Lots of things to see and watch while eating. The food was good some was a little overcooked but, it was late in the evening right before they closed. Overall great small old style diner with the spinning stools at the counter. Will definitely come back here to see the airplanes.
This place is always great. From the food to the service. A small local airport is their backyard, where you can view people parachuting from their indoor and outdoor seating. Small inside, but nothing beats that diner atmosphere.
Get the apple and fig jam grilled cheese and a hand made milkshake. It's incredible. This place truly rules and is great local Americana.
The entire staff are amazing. The food is home style cooked. Everyone is very hard working and accomodating. I'm a long time customer.
