I went to see Journey at the Excel Center and wanted to find a place to eat and drink before the show. It was our first time there, so we were unsure of the process. The restaurant was busy and there was a line. When we reached the front counter, I felt a bit silly, but I asked how to be seated since it was our first time. The man (whose name I wish I could remember) who took our order was very kind and patient in explaining the process to us as we looked over the menu at the counter. Very fun place to go before a wild game. Lots of seating. Great service and large beer selection.Food was fantastic. I got a quarter pound all beef hot dog which was amazing with their bacon kraut and fried onions. My husband got a bratwurst which was just as good and they were huge. Prices were actually decent also. We expected them to be a little spendy being next to the Xcel Energy Center. But that was not the case. I would definitely go there again especially with a big group like we had. A+
I stopped in here before the MN Wild game and decided to try some of their sausages, I had the Elk and Wild Boar, the bartender was nice enough to suggest my two toppings for each (even though it was very busy), the sausages were amazing! I only went in for some drinks and appetizers. Everything was good, but not exceptional enough to make me want to come back. The cheese curds were tasty, but they're pretty standard fare. I might return in the future to try their specialty sausages.
