Our family came here based on the reviews and we all agreed we 'd NEVER come back here again. Why? 1. The ice cream tasted pretty decent, but not out of this world. I 've had better. 2. The sizes are so tiny, even tinier than the other hoity-toity or bougie places around Boston. They actually WEIGH the ice cream, counting the exact ounces they scoop into a tiny cup. 3. My wife and son both got 1 scoop which was a crazy $6, but the person gave my son a kiddie size, which was even tinier than the 1 scoop (it was probably 3 tablespoons of ice cream), and when we pointed out the obvious difference in size, she started by defending the place saying the smaller scoop was denser . The ice cream at this restaurant is incredibly creamy and delicious. The flavors are great and the portion sizes are generous for the price. The atmosphere is very relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were friendly. I tried the Graham Chocolate flavor and it was amazing. The portion sizes are surprisingly large, I couldn't even finish one scoop! They also have a nice seating area where you can work or enjoy your ice cream or coffee in peace, as well as a play area for children. My husband and I each ordered two scoops of the vegan cookies and cream flavor on cones, but the portions were so generous that we ended up needing bowls instead. The ice cream was delicious and we were impressed by the wide selection of indoor and outdoor seating. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We were pleased to find out that the sugar cones were also vegan. In addition to the cookies and cream flavor, they also offered vanilla, chocolate avocado flavors, as well as a variety of vegan drink options like blueberry latte and matcha drink. This place is definitely worth a visit for those looking for vegan ice cream during the summer.
Icecream tasted great. I got Baklava flavor and it was great. This place has your standard set of flavors and then a few interesting rotations like Baklava and Cannoli. Atmosphere is good and they create a good vibe with the music. They do have a limited staff at the counter. Though the taste is great, ice cream is pricey as compared to some of the other comparable places I’ve been too. And the price reflects less in the amt and more in the size of cup. I love visiting this spot after having pizza at Rail Trail Flatbread. We have tried a variety of flavors including Peanut Butter, Peppermint Stick, Avocado Chocolate with candied walnuts, and cookies and cream. Some flavors stood out more than others, with Peppermint Stick being my personal favorite. Some flavors had a prominent coconut taste that overshadowed the ice cream flavor, but overall everything was delicious! Originally reviewed in 2024.
I absolutely love the vegan options at this restaurant. The chocolate, vanilla, and lime sorbet are always delicious, and the cookies n' cream was a great addition when they had it. I wish they would expand their vegan menu even more to include a wider variety of options and seasonal flavors. Overall, their vegan dishes are done incredibly well and I hope to see more choices in the future.
I had a great time at this restaurant. They are all about trying different things. The ice cream was delicious. I liked that their portion sizes are smaller, so you don't feel guilty after eating a lot. The lemonade was powerful, but when I diluted it with some water, it was perfect.
