After searching for a good Chinese restaurant for the last 18 months, we finally decided to try Happy Fountain. We were pleasantly surprised - the chicken was actually fresh, not the pre-cooked frozen strips we've had at pricier places. The toffee sesame banana dessert is now my boyfriend's absolute favorite. It's definitely the best we've had in the area!
Has there been a change in ownership? The Sichuan beef was tender, but too sweet. The stir-fried vegetables (broccoli) were undercooked. The crispy seaweed had too much sugar. The Egg-fried rice lacked flavor. It's a disappointment as I had never had any issues in the past two years of ordering regularly. I know you were busy, but...
When we want to reward ourselves for a particular achievement, or if we just feel that we deserve a treat, we'll get a delivery from the Happy Fountain. They serve what we like and they prepare it the way that we like it. The service is attentive and helpful and we've never been disappointed by what was delivered.
I have had many wonderful meals at Happy Fountain Chinese Food at The Vern Church in Crookham, but today's takeout experience was the best yet. We've had a few take-aways from here over the last few months and have always been happy with the food. The Honey Barbecued Spare Ribs are a favourite. The Sweet Sour and Yellow Bean dishes are also very good
Been using the above for 2 years as a takeaway, service excellent, dishes always quick, hot and tasty, moving away sorry we can't use anymore, thank you guys
