My wife Caroline and I eat at the New Malton regularly. Often whilst we are there, with reluctance staff have to turn those wishing to dine, away. It is that good!Book in advance and you will not be disappointed. A good range of food, nice wines and other drinks at reasonable prices but above all a genuine smile, happy greeting and five star service from Gemma and her staff.I add, I do not know Gemma or anyone from the New Malton socially. This revue is genuine, based solely on our eating experiences.
what a nice pub restaurant. friendly staff and even offered our dog cookies and water. we had not booked and was very happy to be the last two of the chef allowed to be, other walks after us were gone (very popular, so I would advise to book to avoid disappointment) . eating was amazing and the staff is wonderful. we had a wonderful night thanks to all the coworkers and excellent chef.
I enjoyed the fishcakes and lemon sorbet (for dessert) very much. The staff was friendly and helpful, too. Pleasant visit — I'm sure it won't be the last.
With a fresh menu everyday you can be spoiled for choice here. Often very busy and in high demand book to avoid disappointment

This establishment was very good service and friendly staff and really good food. Quite expensive but worth it lovely place.
Visited just for drinks the staff behind the bar rude and miserable, we will not be returning!
