All around the Nola area you can find New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood Co. locations, and with good reason. This low frills fast dining establishment is capable of putting a very solid product in front of you fairly quickly at a good cost. Did I mention there?s free ice cream?! The menu all looked so appealing but Chas had been here before so he made a few suggestions. We started off with some mozzarella sticks, I ordered the One-Handed BBQ Shrimp Po-Boy, and Chas and Val split a Breaded Shrimp Platter. These mozzarella sticks are huge and delicious. New Orleans Hamburger and Seafood Co stacks up against their national competitors! Literally, the crab cake and eggplant stack covered in crawfish is perfect. No one will leave hungry fo? sho?!!! The Catfish, gumbo and quick club fares are delicious and well worth the Cajun minute to stop.

That was great. Then they closed for the renovation. Usually a renovation involves improvement or change, this only involved distance. No vegetarian options, no ice, all local art from the walls. Prices high kindness down. The food was more or less the same. It's a shame.

Great place for south house boiled farewell. Variety on the menu from seafood and burgers to Poboys and spaghetti. Not too expensive and good portion sizes. Free soft serve ice to finish your meal. It's a family lover.
