New Standard Tandoori

Been using these guys about 4 years, but unfortunately no longer after recent events. This is the second time where a main item has been missing from an order, meaning we have to wait for this to be delivered before we can eat our food (which is stone cold by the time the missing main is delivered) .. not acceptable when it’s already a long wait in the first place. In tonight’s missing main there was a thick black hair, but due to chaos we’d already had this evening, I could not be bothered to once again contact the new standard to resolve this and ended up having to reorder elsewhere! 100% will never order again from here.. such a shame as used to be a brilliant takeaway.

I have been a regular customer at New Standard Tandoori since I relocated to this area from London 13 years ago. The food is incredibly tasty. My partner and I enjoy curries and have tried many tandoori restaurants across the UK, but the Dragon Paneer from NST is my absolute favorite (you can thank me later)!! The food is delicious and authentic, and it is a wonderful family-owned business. I highly recommend it. *Update* 20.11.22 We tried their new paneer starter "Paneer 65" this evening and it was absolutely stunning!!!

Had a takeaway delivered from New Standard Tandoori last night. We thought it would have been delivered a lot quicker on a Monday night (took about as we lived nearby but can't complain about the food which very nice and good quality. A bit greasy but that's pretty normal for an Indian! Will use again.

The food here was 5* but the last few times we've ordered the food has down hill and it's really noticeable. All the food is underseasoned and underwhelming compared to before , bring back the spices and I will override the rating, thanks much love Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Nice food nothing special. I wouldn’t order anything lamb as it’s so hard and chewy. The wait for delivery is 90 minutes every time. Never seen this before. The people who work there are lovely though. Service: Delivery
