New Taste Of India

We tried this place for the 3rd time tonight… and it was a strike out. It seems the food got worse each time. The mango lassi was watered down and bland. The mango chutney wasn’t awful, but tasted mostly like vinegar. The garlic naan was beyond disappointing. First, it didn’t taste anything like garlic. It was dry, somewhat burnt and flavorless. The paneer was dry and also slightly burned. The masala had zero flavor or spice. The mushroom saag was awful. Nothing close to any other saag I’ve had. Not only was this food bad, but my partner and I are both experiencing stomach issues directly after eating it… Very disappointed in the entire order. My advice, get a NEW chef or switch food genres....

Tried them a few times, food quality declined with every encounter. Placed a large order they forgot rice, samosas squished and came with out sauce, dough undercooked. Waited over an hour for the food with a hungry 3 year old, only to be disappointed! Called to complained and was questioned about if I truly received the rice and was told they ran out of sauce for the samosas. Not to mention they put the wrong apartment number on the order. What a waste of time and money. Will not order from them again!

I ordered the chicken biryani from Doordash while I was working, hoping to make some decent gains. However, when I opened the container, there was only a small piece of chicken and the rest was just rice. The lack of protein was disappointing and made me feel like my money was wasted. $22 for mostly rice? That's ridiculous. I won't be ordering from this place again. I hope the chef feeds his children better than he feeds his customers, because this meal was a letdown. Overall, very disappointing.

I hate giving bad reviews but my experience wasn’t great. First google has the wrong number for the place and wrong location. I went to pick up my online order and didn’t check the bag as I left to get home and see I was missing the 2 pieces of naan I had ordered. The food itself was nothing to write home about either it wasn’t very flavorful and the chicken was dry. The only good thing was the spice level. Hope this was just an off day but by the looks of the other reviews it may not be.. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

I ordered borscht and the lamb pasanda was mostly bone and gristle, with very little meat, as if they had scraped the bottom of the pot to serve my dish. The sauce was starchy and oddly seasoned. I have had good experiences eating here before, but this time the chicken korma was dry and the sauce was tasteless. This is disappointing for an establishment that prides itself on serving authentic North Indian cuisine. The prices are high for the poor quality of food served.

I had a positive first experience at this restaurant. I placed my order through DoorDash for chicken vindaloo with garlic naan. Although I requested a mild spice level, it was a bit spicy, which I didn't mind. The chicken was flavorful and tender, and the naan was delicious as well. Both portions were generous in size. My order was ready for pickup when I arrived. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

taste of india? what a sweat. nothing indian about eating, except the names on the menu. go to red hook curry house and skip this overpriced müll. underscored, bland food and weak sauces. there are other places to buy Indian food. it is worth eating for good. two stars just because the order was accurate, and we didn't get food poisoning. otherwise a hard fit.

Everything was dirty! The chairs had old food on them, the cups has old food stuck to them, and the ICE was the WORST! The ice had so much large chunks of dirt and... maybe food inside it. Rude and horrible customer service , there’s no one here,his food is kept for 2 days and not a sanitary place to eat and cups and pleated are broken, worst service even and would never take a risk during Covid especially this place

Delicious food and service. The lamb samosa is delicious!!! Prices are reasonable, you can catch the lunch special for a great price !!!
