Do not go to this club. I ordered 3 drinks and told the tall masculine bartender girl I was going to restroom and she kept my money. Later I asked for my drink and she acted like I was harassing her. All lies. I have proof. The general manager Monique Cassandra has no clue about customer service. She literally argued with my friend after she fell inside the business premises. I am disgusted at how this place treats their customers. I had not been here in like 8 years and was in town for the holidays. I was in my car making a phone call and witnessed how the staff harassed a gal who could not walk and her friends who were trying to help her. They are a bunch of bullies. What happened to this place!!!!!! Not coming back! Gal if you read this please contact me I am a witness.
The place is not big, but that makes it more fun and fun. The music was on the point and the karaoke was fantastic, the amount we had was really in it and made it super fun. I had a great time, all memories of my 80s with all the great memories they have. Drinks were great and we had an explosion!!! Will definitely be back!!!!
Really trying hard not to gatekeep this one but it's a gem! Karaoke is fun great regular singers and music! I love their purple rain drink! Amazing! Disclaimer I've only tried their asada nachos and they was so so that's why a 4 star. Last and most favorite is their live cover bands!!!

horrible bouncer. Wrong judgment and rude attitude. Get new bouncers. Very unprofessional. He literally verbally HARASSED my friend how insulting. Just because you're a bouncer doesn't mean you can take advantage of people.
I came to the New Wave Bar almost since the opening, and I had a great experience every time!! It is the best karaoke bar in LA area. The 80s Vibe and ingenious kj, Jay, make it worth everyone's time!
I have always had a good time in the new wave brought my friend Sal and it was his first time and was really happy. Requisit to the bartender Cecil poor guy was everywhere, but he got the job done
The star rating isn’t reflective of anything negative. I simply went to enjoy a fun evening and watch a cover band. The drinks were good, and the bartenders were really friendly.

If you like 80s this place a the place to dance your 80s vibes away. On St. Patrick's day Idol X performed. It was a amazing show.
