New York Fried Chicken Pizza

This is our go-to spot for late-night snacks at 2, 3, or even 4 a.m. after a night out at a concert or club in Newark. The staff are always incredibly friendly and accommodating, even at 3 a.m. when people from all walks of life come in, some a bit wobbly on their feet. My friend and I are always greeted with warm smiles since they recognize us. The chicken is always served hot and juicy, and the fries are cooked to perfection with a light crispiness that I love. I rate this restaurant a solid 5 stars for their chicken. They have a diverse menu that includes chicken, pizza, and a variety of desserts and cakes. I tried their banana dessert, which was quite tasty. As a vegetarian, I opted for the falafel served on a salad, and the salad was fresh and vibrant. The falafel was absolutely delicious – I’m not sure where they source it from, but it’s definitely one of the best falafels I’ve had to date.

The fried fish here is absolutely delicious! If you're a fan of fried fish fillets, this is the place to be. Just a note: it's not catfish.
