I used to frequently visit Jackson, Mississippi for work, and whenever I was there, I would always dine at Newk's. It was a fantastic spot for a delicious lunch. However, my recent experience at this particular Newk's was disappointing. It's hard to go wrong with soup and a sandwich, but somehow they managed to mess it up. The tortilla soup came out cold, but they quickly replaced it with a better one when I brought it to their attention. Unfortunately, when my sandwich also arrived cold, I decided to give up and consider this visit a poor choice.
I absolutely adore this restaurant! The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. I work nearby and our office orders from here at least once a week, and my kids love it too! Despite many other restaurants lowering their quality and cutting corners during the pandemic, Newk's has not. Their salads and sandwiches are always packed full of flavor. It's definitely one of my go-to spots in Cypress.
Was surprised that regular burger is two patties. Apparently you can order a smaller one but I didn't notice that on the wall menu. The burgers are delicious and they have 15-20 toppings included in the cost. I ordered a regular one but discovered I have to specify each ingredient i want such as mustard, jalapeños, pickles, mayo, onions, lettuce etc.
Logan was so incredibly kind to us. I accidentally forgot to order the dressing on the side and he took my salad back and made a new one for me. He didn’t give me a hard time about it at all in anyway. Was so kind and professional about it. It’s people like him that make these places excellent. He’s a keeper for sure! I don't know what happened to this restaurant when they have new peculiarities but it is hot inside plus bathrooms are boiling hot! water jurisdiction not like a hot restaurant. I couldn't eat there I had to take it to my car because it was so unpleasant!
Great sandwiches, great soups, clean place. I almost feel ashamed for not trying them out sooner. ? I especially like their turkey and Swiss sandwich with loaded baked potato soup, but you won't go wrong getting sonething else. ?
This location has a great group of workers. A young man named Logan is one of the hardest working employees that I observed. He was always moving and asking guest if they needed anything and if everything was ok.
I ordered the Door Slayer and was pleasantly surprised. The food was fantastic! I had the tomato basil soup and Greek salad, both fresh and flavorful. I will definitely be coming back! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
