The dining room could be any dark pub anywhere. This schnitzel should not have been plated, or left the kitchen. The server didn 't stop it from getting to the table either. The schnitzle was fried so hard, the edges curled up! The flavors of the sauerbraten gravy were overwhelmed with what I believe was grahmam crackers, sometimes used as a thickner. It was the first time I ever noticed the oddly strong flavor. I wasn 't looking to be transported to Germany for the meal, or thinking tastes would be exactly like home and dinner in Munich but never expected to be dissapointed by choices staff made in preparing and serving me. We had extra kase Spaetzle and left satt with half of the meat left...
This place was great! Our waitress was very attentive. Their pretzel, homemade mustard, and beer cheese were amazing. They even give you little pretzel nuggets before your meal which was a nice addition that our kids loved. My burger was cooked perfectly and it was paired nicely with my liter of German beer. 5/5. We'll be back.
We went there last night for the first time and had a great meal and experience. I hit the jackpot because they had Kostritzer Schwarzbier on tap. Our server Jaclyn was a delight and a true professional, she couldn’t have been nicer to us. Will definitely return!
Phenomenal service and great food. We went with little kids and they were very accommodating, but need to have a changing table in the bathroom. Otherwise, great spot for family dinner! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Great traditional German restaurant. Plenty of classic German dinners and desserts along with a seasonal menu featuring local produce. Extensive selection of German beers on tap.
Wasn't as good as it usually was. Serve you dry hard pretzels to start in blistering dry heat. Assumed mustard on table was dipping sauce but it was sitting in 90 degree heat.
Great authentic German meals, and also some American favorites. Banger German brews on tap, great service, and festive atmosphere.
