At the start, the waitress didn't ask what drink we wanted. We ordered the blind sharing menu consisting 9-course. We got our drink after the first two courses. After 4-course, the waitress told us the next she would be serving was soup (strange order). Then what she brought us were three main courses. After she got us desert, I asked her about the soup. She forgot about it. Really not impressed by the service! For the food, it was good in general. But the cod fish and soup were too salty.
Our server Jake was great…he explained the process, small plates that you share. I’m gluten free because I have celiac disease, he knew what I could and couldn’t eat. The rest of our party raved about the tempura battered cheese curds and the baquette with this fresh cheese to slather on top. Desserts were good! Overall a great experience and definitely we will go back.
I’ve been to this restaurant before and had a great experience, but this time was quite disappointing. The waitress seemed to be unwell, and the service was very slow. I was placed at a table that was too cramped for conversation. It will be a long time before we consider returning.

Second time at NeXT and it was fantastic. The tasting menu is fantastic and actually includes substantial portions rather than one small bite of each dish. Love the food and good value.
