Came across this place randomly while out in Northbrook for the afternoon, and we loved it. The vibe is cool and the food was great. There was no wait for a table, but I'm sure we just came at the right time, cuz it's not a very large place. Also, I don't know what the person below was going on about re: not being able to get a table if you're under 60. We were a group of 20/30 somethings and got seated immediately. Food is not exorbitantly priced but isn't cheap. Check it out if you're looking for something to do after the Botanic Gardens or hitting the outlets.
The place is definitely on the smaller side, but they fit as many tables as they can that for sure. It's not the best for us taller folks are you basically rubbing elbows with the table next to you. The service is good and the food has been delicious each time I have been here. I had the sea bass and it was very good. I recommend getting in early as it will fill up and typically reservations get kind of messed up not sure why.
This restaurant is well-known and inviting. I enjoyed the service and the way the meals were presented. When we arrived on a Friday evening, the restaurant was full of customers, but the staff were polite and seated us at a lovely table within 5 minutes. Despite the crowded space, the service was quick and efficient. Overall, we had a wonderful experience here. The food was decent, but it lacked flavor.
This restaurant is absolutely delightful! The atmosphere is wonderful, the food is delicious, and the staff is charming and attentive. We stumbled upon this gem on a spontaneous trip to Chicago to buy a new car and decided to celebrate with a beautiful meal before heading back to Kentucky. We will definitely be coming back here again!

This place is popular and cozy. I liked service and attention to how food is furnished. On Friday evening place was packed by patrons, employees were polite and in 5 minutes we were seated at a nice table. Even though place was packed service was lightning fast. We had a great time here. Food was good but was lacking flavor.
Stopped by for the first time a couple days ago and was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly, everything seemed clean and organized, and most importantly the food was delicious. It was probably the gnocchi that we've ever had. Will definitely be back.
Crisp and flavorful. The toppings are fresh and plentiful. A meal here takes me back to a simpler time, a better time in history. Prices here are very reasonable too. If you've never been here, you don't know what you are missing.
The short rib pasta was excellent. I will definitely order it again next time. The veal meatball was also good, but not as generous in portion as the short rib pasta. This restaurant serves very authentic homemade Italian dishes.
