I absolutely adored this restaurant. The atmosphere is fantastic, the staff is incredibly friendly - it's just a great experience overall. I visited twice while in NYC and tried the vegan pho, vegan summer rolls, and the vegan banh mi with curried tofu. Every dish was delicious, especially the curried tofu which had an amazing flavor. The portions were generous and I left feeling very satisfied. The vegan menu is also quite extensive, offering a wide variety of options.
I recently tried the House Special Bánh Mì and the Berkshire Pork Bánh Mì at this restaurant and both sandwiches were fantastic. However, I think they could be improved with the addition of jalapeño slices or the option to add them. The Summer Roll was a bit disappointing as it had an excessive amount of rice noodle, but the dipping sauce was delicious.
The coffee hoisin sauce is surprisingly delightful, and the spring rolls are packed with flavor. The tempeh is unique and interesting, with a perfect crispiness. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between tranquil and lively, and the staff exude a friendly energy.
I do not recommend ordering delivery from this place. They frequently get the orders wrong and do not show any concern or offer to fix the mistakes. It's disappointing because the food is great when eaten in the restaurant. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
A fantastic dining experience! The staff is friendly, and the flavors are incredible. I would highly recommend it to anyone. The fresh sauces perfectly enhance each dish.
The vegan bahn mi and summer spring roll were both very delicious. They also offer coffee with plant milks, which is a nice option. Yum!
The pho at The Birdcage was very disappointing, as it was filled with excess fat and grease.
