We were in the area looking for a great place for dinner drinks. We found Nicholas Barrel Roost decided to give it a try. What a great vibe as we walked thru a busy restaurant. The bar had seating so we sat close to the drinktender. Great decision as our server was knowledgeable friendly. We ordered drinks dinner… as we enjoyed the bourbons beers, the entrees came out. We had Grilled Swordfish, Crusted Halibut the Spare Rib. All of the entrees were beautifully plated and equally delicious! We will be back when our travel brings us to this area. One of best places to dine in New Jersey. We celebrated our anniversary here and loved the food. The French onion soup is a perfect start to your dinner plans. All cocktails are beautiful composed and will make you to crave more. Staff here is very nice and cheerful. Only thing we felt disheartened was that we didn’t receive an anniversary plating of desert(my wife was kinda sad for missing out on blowing candle since we saw pictures of other parties celebrating birthdays and anniversary here).
It was a beautiful and tasty, fun eating dinner with my fella. It was his birthday, and our waitress surprised my fella with a gigantic, delicious banana split with sparkling lights to honor his day. We had an amazing dining experience! The food was fresh, delicious unique. Our server was friendly timely did a great job explaining the specials menu to us. The atmosphere is beautiful trendy very well kept. We can't wait to return!

This restaurant has some outstanding food, ambiance, drinks....you name it. I had a girls night and our waitress took excellent care of us. The food was on point; so fresh and delicious. I would definitely come back...I can't wait!
Had a great brunch with friends and family. Everything was great including the service, food and bottles of bourbon we bought that Was signed by the owner. Truly a special time.

Wanted to try this place for a while. Definitely lived up to my expectations. The oysters were top notch and well as all our choices. Drinks tooooooooo!!
