Just okay. This restaurant has been around for years and has changed ownership several times but always popular as the local greasy spoon. Hot spot for truckers and the buffet loving crowd. Decor is old and dingy. Wait staff is friendly but a few of them are not in any hurry... Lol In my experiences, the food has always been pretty good. Portions are very generous and the menu has a good variety of choices. We love the all-day breakfast. My only complaint is that there is a extra charge of $1.50 to add cheese to any omelette and it's not even real cheese, it's processed. Do not sit along the wall that backs on to the bathroom
My friend and I always go out for breakfast, and we consistently receive quick service and immediate seating. This place fills up fast on the weekends, but it’s so spacious that it’s never an issue. Nick's offers a breakfast buffet, which I’ve never tried, but I see people diving into it all the time. I’ve heard great things about it, but I can never eat that much in the morning. Our coffee is always refilled, and our breakfast arrives quickly and hot. It’s perfect for our regular breakfast outings. I honestly have never had a bad experience here. Highly recommended!
All the dishes, from the hot entrees to the cold house salads, were excellent. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, and we wish her a wonderful trip to Greece this week. The atmosphere was welcoming, and it was evident that many customers were regulars, as the waitstaff seemed to know most of them. That’s always a good sign! Thank you for a lovely dinner. The only downside was the stuffed green peppers— the rice inside wasn’t cooked quite enough. However, we will definitely give them another chance next time.
I’m giving this restaurant a 5-star rating this time because my experience was excellent. I had the chicken Caesar salad again, and the waitress was very attentive and quick. There were only a few other customers in the restaurant around 3 a.m., which made the atmosphere much more enjoyable compared to our first visit. The prices are also reasonable. My boss and my dad both really enjoy eating here. It's easier on your wallet than most places, and you get a lot of food if you eat at the buffet. It has the feel of a rustic diner and each time I've been there, it has been largely frequented by seniors. The service was good, and the food was not fancy, but it's not bad. Dessert options were likely inspired by the fact that there were so many seniors there ; I'd give it a 3.5 if half stars were options.
Meat lovers' buffet. No big buffet, but very good food. Two types of fish, fall from bone ribs, salad bar, large fried chicken and more. I would recommend this place.
Very busy and a bit noisy account of the many functions going on. Food was very good and service was quite fast considering all the activities.
