A group of 5 of us went after a great EE winery tasting visit. The atmosphere was boring and you couldn't see the specials board and the waitress didnt want to recite it (like other places do) We ordered the fried pickles and fried green beans, which were awesome. I ordered a patty melt and fries. The fries came on a HUGE plate,which was enough for 2 people which didn't each but maybe a 1/4 of. My friend got her fries in a bowl. The patty melt was great. My friend order Sierra mist and when the waitress came to refill she filled friends with water Instead of Sierra mist. First and last time for us. We had pork sausage for breakfast at home so we opted for a single hamburger for the wife and I had a double cheeseburger with provolone on it. Both sandwiches were excellent and the service was very attentive by a tongue twisted teenaged waitress. Will come back to do the tenderloin sometime soon.
What a nice find.... The food is homemade and delicious. It's a step back in time cute little diner with a large counter with stools. There are booths and a few tables scattered down the middle of the dinner. Nick's Kitchen is just cute as a button.

We stopped in today for lunch and had a great experience. Breaded tenderloin was great, the onion rings were very good and we tried two pies....sugar cream and the black raspberry both were exceptional!
