Nick's Luncheonette

Great spot for breakfast and lunch. Stop by for friendly staff, good simple food, and a clean restaurant/bathroom environment. I believe having a clean bathroom can be indicative of how their kitchen is. Clean bathroom clean kitchen and vis versa. This place is 3 years old at this location (because of imminent domain) but almost 30 years in total has been doing the great breakfast and lunch meals. I got the French toast breakfast with sausage, bacon, eggs, and coffee. Lovely light French toast, the bacon was pretty awesome for not being thick cut, the sausage was really good and the eggs were regular poured from a bottle (or so I think). I have been here few times, I find it pretty good but very inconsistent. The eggs sometimes are really good (scramble) others kind of water down same with Texas French toasts sometimes big others half the size. Otherwise good very friendly service.

Good service, food, portions and prices. It has great value. The place was packed on a Sunday morning, but there was only a short waiting time to be seated. It is just off I-95 on exit 42.
