the hostess was friendly and accommodating. we arrived early, with three people instead of the two in our reservation, but she immediately accommodated us (the place was not full.) the menu is very limited more a bar menu than a fine restaurant, but there are some interesting possibilities. the waiter was business. the service was very slow. the food was a mix of hits and misses: burger was ordered medium, came well done, but the pommes were excellent and piping hot. risotto looked beautiful, but was kind of bland. there was what looked like a pesto topping, but I didn't get a pesto taste. wings were very good, a generous portion of fleshy wing. my biggest complaints are the slow service and...

the restaurant was beautiful. the ambiente and the service were great! the drinks were delicious, but eating was disappointing. the wings were not bad, only poor taste. I paid $42 in the ground for an unseasoned steak in tomatensoße with a mais garnish and my man had “sloppy joe” and gnocchi, definitiw not tasted or similar to the short nativity we had expected. we heard such good things, but this time did not experience it. the personal was all pleasant and it saved the experience. thank you dana!

My first time back to Nico's since the shutdown. It was even better than I remember. Our server Maya was outstanding, and we enjoyed shrimp and grits, a hamburger, salmon, and short ribs--all delicious. Highly recommended!

had dinner before a concert in njpac. cocktails were good for happy hour. our party had any salate green or caesar,) which were plentiful. the service was very attentive. will come back.
