Enjoyed Sunday Lunch at this new restaurant. The decor is bright and welcoming with relaxing music playing. There is a large centre table, great for couples and for larger groups. I also really liked the Mural on the side wall. Staff are tentative and friendly, happy to explain the menu. The price is quite reasonable. We decided to both have Bibimbap and they are more than happy to make some alternations to cater for some dietary requirements (fructose malabsorption). Food came out quickly in a nice large bowl and you can tell that time and care had been taken. At a stone’s throw from Prahran station, this self-professed Korean-influenced eatery tries to think outside the box. It serves Western all-day breakfast with influence. It also serves traditional Korean with its own interpretation. It even serves curry bap which conjures the imagery of a Japanese curry. A special mention is their nouveur curry puff. Order it and you will not be disappointed. They also served an all-inclusive dosivak dish and the familiar bibim bap. I must confess, however, that I still cannot get pass bibim bap served cold in a plastic dish. It needs to be in a well-heated stone bowl served piping hot with the prospect of salvaging some crunchy rice crackling as a finale.
My new favourite, excellent food. Korean in style, and it must be genuine as there are often Koreans in there eating. Just simply good tasty food. The Green Tea ice-cream is delicious. I keep coming back for the Bibimbap, chicken, beef, it doesn't matter it's all good. Tried their Green Tea Latte, wouldn't normally drink that sort of thing, since I am such a coffee drinker that doesn't like milk in it. But this was so smooth rich and tasty. At least once a week I'm there for lunch and the price is right.
We went to this place expecting a simple Korean meal but were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, especially the scallops. They were cooked perfectly, with spinach and some cheese. Possibly one of the best scallop dishes I've ever had. The bibimbap and Korean glass noodles were good but not outstanding. Chicken wings were good too. This is a bright and airy cafe not far from Chapel St in Prahran.The service is friendly, if a bit forgetful in my case. I had the seafood bibimbap, which was well presented and came in a large white bowl. The food was very fresh and came with a choice of soy sauce or chili sauce. The chili sauce had a nice flavour and wasn't excessively spicy.
Have been here twice now and am still in awe and totally engrossed by the whole tea experience! Lovely service, delicious tea and this time we dined on soba noodle salad which was divine. Fresh and light; perfect for continuing on our road trip to Torquay. Great accidental find that we continue to return to.
Quickly becoming the talk of the town, I must have been here 5 or 6 times. Every time I must order and entree of the wings. I've had the bibimbap a few times to and I just keep coming back. Great coffee too! They also have cold drip not that I've tried that. Overall you must come and try this little Gem
Went here for breakfast whilst my car was being washed across the road. Breakfast was fantastic. I had the pancakes which were great. Service fantastic. I wish my car wash was up to this standard. Worst car wash ever. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Second visit after a great cuppa last year and this time had a great lunch, again with a beautiful tea. Great service, refreshing noodles and beautiful tea. We'll be back when back that way.
