Tiny and cozy Italian restaurant in the south of Lanzarote. I had my eye on it as soon as I got to the area, and when it made sense for me to try it, it was clear to me that I was right without a doubt. The staff were very kind in accommodating our request to move tables and put us at one of the three window tables; overlooking the sea and the port of Playa Blanca. The food perfectly matches the majority of comments and I attest to the good score they maintain. I don 't recommend anything in particular because I think any dish is worth a try. What I do recommend is to visit it without thinking if the area suits you. One peculiarity is that it only opens for dinner service. To end the evening...
We came here as a family of four, with 2 teens. The location is great, overlooking the port and sea at sunset is really lovely. We had a window seat to really enjoy the view, albeit it's pretty hot in there as its a small restaurant with a hot kitchen! We found the food excellent, with really tasty dishes. We particularly enjoyed the meat ragu pasta, which was really flavoursome. It tried the claim pasta which was tasty, but a little gritty, which can be an issue with clams. A real Italian. Only open for dinner. The pasta is made by them. The service is great, they are very nice and they explain the menu very well. If you're looking for pizza, there isn't any but they have all kinds of pastas, canalones, ravioli and lasagna. I recommend you book. We reserved inside the restaurant but in the windows that face the sea and it is very good with the coolness and the views. We will return without a doubt. If you come to Playa Blanca you must have dinner one day in this restaurant, but it is better to make a reservation as it is quite a small place. We ordered imperata di cozze as a starter, a plate of mussels in a spicy sauce and toasted bread. Very good flavor and enough quantity to be a starter. As main we ordered spaghetti carbonara and linguine alle vongole. Everything was delicious, the quality of the raw materials (ingredients and homemade pasta) and the authenticity of the recipes are noticeable. Amazing little place. Staff super friendly. So much choice. Only a handful of tables so plan a visit to book a table first and then go back and enjoy. We opted for the Italian Sauvignon which was crisp and light. Desserts were lovely and a little complimentary lemoncello rounded the evening off. I love places like this.
