I've been visiting Nino Taco since they were located on Liberty Road back in 1996. The food is decent, but it doesn't match the quality it used to have. It would also be great if they wore gloves while handling food. I’ve noticed them touching money and the register before preparing someone’s food without washing their hands or wearing gloves. Lastly, while the owner used to be very friendly, the new staff members seem to have attitudes and appear frustrated. With so many health concerns these days, it's important to use gloves; washing hands alone isn't sufficient—if it were, doctors wouldn't need to follow strict hygiene protocols.
Came here as a last minute option due to it being packed everywhere else on cinco de mayo. When we walked in we were a little taken a back by the staff. The staff marches to the beat of their own drum. Although the server tried her best to help us, the food was just not good at all. The ground beef is almost like minced meat, and the tacos are the same as the tacos that you buy in the grocery store 10 pack that comes with the sauce And the seasoning). I let the chef know that the meat was cold and unseasoned, and he looked at me like I had four eyes. We will not be going back to this establishment.
My husband and I hadn't visited this restaurant in about a decade and were initially disappointed with the food. However, while in the area craving Mexican cuisine, we decided to give it another shot. We ordered a few dishes and were pleasantly surprised; the food arrived quickly and was served hot. This time around, we were impressed and look forward to returning to sample more items from the menu. I deducted one star because they don’t offer complimentary salsa and chips; we had to purchase them, and the salsa was a bit too sweet for our liking.
I hadn't dined at Nino Taco in years, but craving something different, I decided to give it another go. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the food was just as great as I remembered. What made the experience even better was the service from a young lady named Victoria G. She was attentive from the moment we walked in until we finished our meal. Since it was quite hot outside, she suggested we sit near a fan, ensured we got our drink refills, and even offered tips on how to heat up our dishes.

I really want to continue enjoying Nino Taco because I have fond memories of the Randallstown location. However, today the flavors just aren't there, and the quality has declined. The food felt sparse in taste, and the meat was quite bland. I ordered the signature Meat Sombrero, which is now priced at $15.99, and it was dry and nearly devoid of sauce. When people can make it better at home, they’ll choose to stay home!
Loved the salsa that came with the chips salsa appetizer we ordered. The little condiment cup of salsa that came with my chicken quesadilla was kinda bland though. The quesadilla was quite good, as were the refried beans on the side. Sadly the nacho cheese side that came with my platter was super bland. All in all, it was all okay. I'd go back just for the appetizer salsa. Should have got some to go.
Good for a quick bite of texmex food that's reasonably priced. Best eaten there or soon after it's made, if the food sits too long especially the mile high it becomes a soggy mess.
I've been dining at Nino Taco for years for their taco salad, and they never let me down. It’s always clean, fresh, and delicious. I highly recommend it and can't wait to return!

Best crunchy tacos I've ever had. Love the taco bar when i dine alone. All their food is amazing and fast service. If you haven't tried Nino taco you're missing out.
