Came on a Friday night around 8pm and there was a wait. We found that when we left around 10pm there was still a lot of people waiting. We also found out that the sushi bar is only reserved for those who are planning to do omakase. So I guess you could skip the line if you'd want to do omakase. We were seated and are able to scan for the menu and were also given a specials menu. The prices here are a bit high. We were surprised to see bentos were only available for lunch and they were around $40-$50. Pricey for a lunch but I've got to say their fish is fresh! I ordered the ooka roll with 3 different types of fish and topped off with masago. I enjoyed it especially the masago. We also had the...

Came here after looking for a new sushi spot in the SGV. Lots of options, but kept coming back to the great reviews here and had to roll up to check it out. Restaurant located in the hustle and bustle of lots of diff spots on Valley and overall unassuming and small. Waited a few minutes for seating, but staff were accommodating and service was pretty responsive. Ordered lots of diff rolls, sashimi, and crispy rice and can say was fresh and enjoyable. Various classic japanese beers on tap and some classic izakaya type food as well. Overall, not too pricey and portions were good and tasty. Tempura was some of the best I ve had in a long while and carpaccio was excellent. Crispy rice was good a...

My sister and I walked in without a reservation and were escorted to a table after just a moment. Host and wait staff were nice and friendly. Our drink orders were taken as soon as we were seated. Specials and regular items have their separate menus. Salmon carpaccio was lightly seared with a soy mustard dressing, not my favorite, Black Dragon roll had a good sized eel lying atop of 8 pieces of sushi, yummy. Paper lanterns and Japanese art set a nice decor to the pleasant atmosphere.

I haven't been here in decades. It's changed owners that time, but this latest iteration ain't bad. Excellent customer service. Tried their Monkey Brains and Gizzard skewer. The Monkey Brains (not real monkey Brains, you racist! we're an interesting concoction. The chicken gizzard skewer was seasoned just right, and not overcooked had the right amount of feedback on the outer layer, with enough juiciness within. Although for the price, couldn't you have thrown in 1 more skewer?

Great place for a night out, both the yakitori items and sushi was delicious! We had a group of 8 reserved for 9PM, and the waiters were awesome in accommodating our group. Highly recommend the skewers, lots of options and chicken cartilage was so flavorful. We also tried the poke salad and Kazoku roll, both were delivious! Would come back again.

One of my go-to sushi spots in the SGV! We've tried a few of their rolls including the Ooka Roll, popcorn langostino, crunchy Tiger hidden dragon, Philly roll to name a few and they are always fresh and delicious. Service is always on point. The waiters and waitresses are all super friendly and my daughter always enjoys her time here.

It was a busy night in LA. The lakers were playing on the western finals. The service was a bit slow, but the food was great. Some of the best raw fish I've ever eaten and I've eaten a lot of raw fish...like a shark.
