I had to share what an incredible evening we experienced at Vivi's @No4 in East Boldon on Saturday, September 17th. A group of 4 of us were celebrating a 70th birthday with friends and our meal was fantastic! The tapas were delicious with generous portions to share. We enjoyed large king prawns, chicken skewers in a tasty Lime and chilli, honey and spring onion sriracha drizzle – absolutely delightful! There was so much variety to choose from, we ended up sharing 10 tapas dishes, all beautifully presented. In addition, we also ordered 2 pizzas cooked in a wood fire oven. I used to enjoy the food and atmosphere at this restaurant until recently. I went with my sister for morning coffee and a snack, but was disappointed with the weak and watery Americano coffee. I mentioned it to the staff, but I wish I had sent it back immediately. I understand the importance of water in making coffee, but this was not up to standard. The food was also overpriced for what we received. I was disappointed as I had previously recommended this place to my sister. I live in Boldon and unfortunately, I will not be returning, which is a shame.
I had the halloumi hash bowl with chorizo and it was delicious! more general part and tasted amazing, just a scandal that I did not make a photo to complicate the presentation. good bistro atmosphere and friendly staff also. when it came to pay, we had two £10 discount vouchers that they accepted as cash without silly conditions as they would find with some places, just one £20 of bill. great place and I will probably be back!
We had a great time enjoying the fancy scampi and chunky chips with a side of charalate, topped with tartar sauce. It was all tasty and affordable. This dish was featured on the specials board, so we are hoping it becomes a regular option as we live in East Boldon.

First visit here. Had a cappuccino and a piece of Chocolate and Orange cake, which I highly recommend. It was a very relaxing Bistro and the staff very helpful and friendly.
Very very tasty food and worth the wait. We were starving. Nice ambience and friendly staff. Another great find with a lovely menu and specials on the board.
