While visiting family from Australia, we were about to skip yum cha for fear of waiting for long lines to eat but a friend suggested that we get there early on a Sunday for lunch. They were correct as there was only a short wait when we arrived but the line soon began to extend. The menu was rather extensive and what seemed like standard dim sum tasted heavenly when our food was delivered steaming hot and in rapid succession. The siu mai was good, the har gau was fresh tasting prawns encased in a thin skin, the cheong funs were succulent and well prepared, the pun tong gau (dumpling in clear broth) was exquisite both in tasty soup and exquisite dumpling, the foong jau (chicken claws) was tas...
Horrible and expensive is how I would sum up this review. For the price they charge you do not get top notch service. Staff doesnt seem to care. The lady who is the manager seem to just ignore my complaints. Waited 2 hours and we still didnt get our food. At other Chinese Restaurants we would have eaten and left by then. Had to ask many times for our order to be taken. Ignored our complaints for the food wait, mean while I saw others who arrived after us got their food. Didnt leave any tips and then they complained. Horrible. These people should go and learn how to run a business. Fancy, Dragon Boat Fusion and Skyview Fusion are packed all the time and the food and service is quick..that is...
Long-time Toronto residents wanted to take my wife I who were visiting from the San Francisco area to this new restaurant. We went on a Tuesday night. There were few people there. We ordered a set dinner for 4 and added Peking duck prepared two ways. Each dish was generally pretty tasty, but we expected more from a Chinese restaurant in the greater Toronto area. The best dish was the duck, which was expertly carved table side. Service was outstanding, possibly because there weren't many people dining there that night. This restaurant probably deserves a re-visit after it has been open a little longer. Its first impression was just so-so.
Noble is always busy during weekends so I decided to see what's up during weekdays and was happy with the less busy environment on a Monday morning for Dim Sum. With wide selection of Chinese teas, the overall service and food quality was good, staff was courteous and efficient. During weekdays, there's special price for some selected Dim Sum items if the order is placed before 11:00 am but such offer may not last forever so it's good to check with Noble if you want to take advantage of such offer in the morning.
We enjoyed a fantastic seafood lunch at this restaurant, featuring a 5-pound lobster, freshly cooked scallops served in the shell, steamed whole sole, garlic Chinese greens, and a delicious slow-cooked soup. It felt like a luxurious banquet experience!
This restaurant is a great choice for lunchtime dim sum, but the only downside is that it is on the smaller side with fewer tables compared to other restaurants. The dim sum selection is impressive and the food tastes great.
We tried the regular dinner menu as well as the party menu. Both were great...delicious and great value!! Next thing we will try is their dim sum. Service was excellent for a busy Chinese restaurant.
The restaurant appears very upscale from the exterior, but the prices are quite expensive. Not many people seem to dine there, as they often opt to visit the neighboring Café Hollywood instead.
The Dim Sum food quality is very good. Several dim sum dishes are their specialty and worth trying. Service is good. If you take advantage of the morning special price, it would be even better.
