While visiting family from Australia, we were about to skip yum cha for fear of waiting for long lines to eat but a friend suggested that we get there early on a Sunday for lunch. They were correct as there was only a short wait when we arrived but the line soon began to extend. The menu was rather extensive and what seemed like standard dim sum tasted heavenly when our food was delivered steaming hot and in rapid succession. The siu mai was good, the har gau was fresh tasting prawns encased in a thin skin, the cheong funs were succulent and well prepared, the pun tong gau (dumpling in clear broth) was exquisite both in tasty soup and exquisite dumpling, the foong jau (chicken claws) was tas...
