Catching up with my reviews ate here on 14th September, in my bid to try out the new local places. Very busy restaurant and had to book in advance to try it out, following a takeaway option the week beforehand (which was very average). Extremely modern fresh interior and friendly enough welcome in. Was a noisy night as a live band was playing at the other end of the restaurant. Sat us down at the end of the restaurant in a booth and waited a few minutes before getting waiter back to ask for drinks. Ordered a bottle of wine and soft drinks. 25 minutes later... they appear back.. Not a good start already, given the waitress had taken our food order before the chap came back with 2 soft drinks...
What can I say,we are recently moved to bishopbriggs and this restaraunt came highly recommended to us,so much we had to try it. On arrival we sat at the bar area which is very bright and modern,within seconds a friendly waiter came to see what we would like to drink,with a vast range of drinks available we were unsure and asked him to recommend something ,he told us to try a couple of cocktails ,french martini and aperol spritz,they were yummy ,so good we had to try another one before we ate our food . After our second cocktail we were taken into the main restaraunt to a cosy booth which could easily seat 5 people ,we were a table of three , We ordered starters and main meals,it took around...
Follow @Gusmack1 on Instagram to order the POLLO SCOZZESE - chicken breast stuffed with haggis, served with creamy mash, broccoli, and a brandy peppercorn sauce, as well as the SPAGHETTI BOLOGNESE. The food was delicious and the dipping sauce was perfect for chips as well. Our order arrived within 60 minutes, but the wait felt long as we were seated between breakfast and lunch. The presentation was lovely, with unique dishes like the bowl the POLLO SCOZZESE was served in. The quality was rated 4/5, the quantity average at 3/5. The value for money was good compared to other similar establishments. However, the service was mediocre despite the restaurant being mostly empty.
Visiting one of my favourite Italian restaurants and we are outside Siting here just now with a lovely view of the canal and the sun is out, days don't get any better than this. The food is fantastic and the staff are very friendly and helpful. This place has a family run feel to it and everyone is welcome all the time, I don't think I have ever had a bad time visiting this restaurant.
Went in for dinner on a Monday night, was not busy at all, and got a table right away. Friendly bar and wait staff, did constant check backs to make sure everything was OK. The food was delicious and was served really quickly, and I had no issues whatsoever. Cosy wee restaurant, great for casual meet-ups or nights out for a meal.
Nonna's has never disappointed me. They offer a great selection of vegetarian options. The children's menu is impressive and offers good value for the money. The staff are always friendly, attentive, and have a smile on their face. The prices are average, neither cheap nor overly expensive compared to other similar restaurants.
Great local Italian restaurant. Good was first class worth checking out the desserts too! The place has a lovely atmosphere and the prices are very reasonable. Thoroughly recommend Nonna's.
I always meet up with friends at Nonnas for a coffee. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is modern and relaxing. I highly recommend it for food or just coffee and cake.
Popped in for Breakfast and was delighted with the tasty full English breakfast we got! Good service quality produce, cooked perfect and good price. Will definitely be back.
