When in France we would not normally choose to eat in an Italian restaurant but it was Sunday and not many were open. Afterwards we wished we had gone hungry! We arrived just after they opened and asked for a table for two. The waitress was curt, bordering on rude, and showed us to a raised table and we had to perch on ‘high chairs’ to use. Neither of us are in the first flush of youth and there were plenty of ordinary tables available. We were given menus and our drinks order was taken by a much more friendly waitress. We both ordered Veal Milanese. This was given to us remarkably quickly, well under five minutes, which seemed nowhere near enough time to prepare and cook such a dish. When I...
Commanded three pizzas to take away to drop everything, all excellent. Well garnished and especially the really very successful pate, both on texture and on cooking. Anyway, I'll be back with great pleasure. Note that on site the atmosphere is very nice with a wide choice of wine.
