I do travel for work and a pleasure of mine is checking out breweries wherever I go. This one?s atmosphere was amazing and the beers were so good. I got some to take home with me. First time I went, I just tried the beers but I went before my flight for a bite and, wow. The food is also delicious. The burger was to die for and the onion rings paired perfectly with saffron aioli (though they were a tiny bit on the salty side still good). People there were great and I will be back! Truly recommend this place to anyone looking for good beer, great food, and an amazing experience!
As usual, Nonsuch did not disappoint. We love coming here when we?re in the mood for a cozy atmosphere and super laid back food. The menu looks simple at first glance, but Cole has managed to make each menu item pop in its own way. Everything is good and I would recommend trying everything at least once. However, if there is one item I tell people is non-negotiable, it?s their burger! It?s to die for! Our server, Amber, is the best server we?ve had so far. She was very attentive and very friendly. She made our night more enjoyable.
The atmosphere here is fantastic! This is definitely one of the most stylish breweries I've ever visited. The staff is incredibly friendly, and there’s a beer option for everyone. I noticed that every guest heading to the patio paused to admire the interior. I also loved that there’s music playing on the patio—a great playlist! Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to try the food, but I’ve heard nothing but great things about the menu, so I’ll definitely be back! You all have done an amazing job. September 2022.
Not your average brewery/tap room. It's very swanky but you don't have to dress swanky to feel welcome. The prices were very reasonable for the level of service and quality of everything. With that said I feel like it's a place you would have 4 beers and head out. Or a meal and a few drinks. Not a place you would spend the night getting into it. Hidden in the Exchange District, NonSuch Brewing is a fantastic find for craft beer enthusiasts. The lounge boasts a cozy and comfortable atmosphere, making it a standout experience compared to other taprooms. It's an ideal spot for enjoying excellent beer, good company, and engaging conversations. We sampled a variety of beers, all of which were outstanding. As a nice surprise, we received some stout as a gift, and we can't wait to try it. We're already looking forward to our next visit!
We visited Nonsuch for the first time and were excited about the atmosphere and trying the food. There were only about four other tables occupied. We ordered meatballs to enjoy with our beers, but after 40 minutes of waiting, we noticed that the other tables had received their meals while we were still waiting for our order. Despite being reassured that our meatballs were on the way, they never came. Frustrated, we paid for our beers and decided to leave.
Absolutely loved it here! The food, service and space were all top notch. We tried a few different beers, all unique with well balanced flavours. The Tripel was particularly good. There are many vegetarian options, and the local asparagus salad was particularly delicious. Staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive. The indoor space is beautiful, and an interesting change from the usual brewpub decor. There was also a nice large patio for warm days.
I had an incredible dining experience tonight! The food and drinks were both phenomenal. The service was excellent; the staff was friendly and offered great recommendations. I was initially unsure about the menu, but the meals blew me away! We tried the lamb shank, and it was absolutely heavenly. Hands down best burg in the city. I challenge you, reader, to find a better burger. Wife had the falafel wrap (might not be on the menu as it?s Nuit Blanche, but it should be) and she gave it a 10/10. Beer is also amazing. Beer is always amazing, in general, but they make a particular tasty number of beers. Beer, food, more beer. Love this place.
