The last time I had Noodles Company was probably 10 years ago. I have been meaning to go back for years now as I remember it being really good back then. So tonight was the night I was going to finally get it. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs andthe Wisconsin mac and cheese. I placed a pick up order that was to be ready at 8:07 pm. I went in at 8:08 pm and it was readyas it was supposed to be and that was great. I drove home which is about 10 minutes away and sat down to eat. Wow was Iseverely disappointed. The quality of food was terrible and not what I remembered from my one other time there. On top of thatthe Mac And Cheese was room temperature. Safe to say I will not be going back a...
As for my grilled chicken Caesar salad, it was disappointing. Instead of the usual romaine lettuce, I received mixed greens, and the croutons were tiny—definitely smaller than I remember. The portion of chicken was also quite small. I couldn’t finish it because the taste was off, almost like eating weeds from the parking lot. For a $12 salad, I expect better. Everything else seemed fine, but they really need to improve their quality overall.
This restaurant is essentially a typical chain establishment with little motivation to improve. The food was decent—nothing to write home about, but still satisfying. The salads could have a bit more variety, but I would consider returning for lunch in the future.
