Most Chinese restaurants near Villa Park are fairly average at best and don’t serve good egg rolls. So, we decided to try Noodles Pho U, which offers a blend of Vietnamese, Thai, and Chinese cuisine. After experiencing disappointing meat quality at other local Chinese restaurants, I was happy to find that Noodles Pho U serves outstanding food! The shrimp are large, the lo mein is packed with flavor, and the fried rice is cooked perfectly with tender pork pieces. Even the orange chicken tastes like it’s made from real meat. The food at this restaurant was outstanding, and I wholeheartedly recommend that everyone experience it at least once in their lifetime! However, if you're in very poor health, I suggest avoiding this place—it might lead to a rather inconvenient situation. The ingredients were fresh, and every dish was beautifully presented. I finished my meal without leaving any leftovers. Also, if you missed it, the name is a clever play on words—“Pho You” sounds like “for you,” which is a fun nod to the noodles. Very creative!
Everything felt rushed and unorganized, which was disappointing. The chicken pho was really unpleasant. They wiped the tables with dirty, foul-smelling water and replaced fresh basil and mint leaves with lettuce—unbelievable! I've never had such a poor experience at a Vietnamese restaurant. Hopefully, this was just an off night. I noticed a help wanted sign in the window and hope they find the staff they need. The only positives were the spring rolls and finally getting to leave.
Noodles Pho U was truly outstanding! Everything is made from scratch, and you can really appreciate the effort that goes into preparing each dish and maintaining its authenticity. The ambiance is lovely, adorned with beautiful artwork, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back! It was delicious!

Had a simple lunch of pho with beef round and brisket. The broth was flavorful and delicious. The beef was cooked perfectly and well-seasoned. The noodles were thin and maintained a great texture. Service was prompt and friendly. I would definitely come back.
