Shocking service and disgusting attitude from staff! Not impressed at all this evening! Having being a customer for over 4 years we have been black listed and refused to order. This is because they took over 3 hours to deliver on New Years Eve and we turned away the food having assumed they weren't delivering after trying to call them 150 times! Called this evening to order dispite this happening as I understand new year's could of been busy, to order and pay over the phone, to then be called back 5 minutes later to say they are refusing to take our order and nobody was willing to speak to me not even the manager because they were too angry to speak to me! As NHS keyworkers, we thought we would treat ourselves for new year. Preordered at 5pm for 8.15pm delivery after work through Just Eat. Called the restaurant at 6pm to confirm with email confirmation at 6.45pm. 9pm no food. Unable to call the restaurant as constantly engaged so went back through just eat for an update. Delivery time amended to 9.30pm. I started walking down to the restaurant at 9.50pm as phones still constantly engaged (25 mins walk each way). I know this Curry house has been about for years but didn’t realise it was a proper restaurant, turns out it isn’t. It has tables and chairs like a restaurant, and you’re served food like a restaurant, but it feels as if someone thought it would be a good idea one night but didn’t really think it through. The result is you’re greeted by a gigantic industrial fridge which dominates the room, leaving space for only a hand full of tables. Overall the atmosphere is a bit weird and If you venture up the stairs to the toilets the whole experience becomes much worse. The staff were friendly and the food was ok, but I would advise to use this place for takeaways rather than a restaurant.
Went here for the first time and i have to say the food was excellent they do a deal for £9.99 through monday to thursday which comprises of a starter a main and you can then choose either rice or a naan if you fancy something that you know will be too spicy or hot for you they will cook it to your liking none of the courses were rushed out plenty of time left in between the staff were very polite too if you require an alcoholic drink you will need to take your own we also took our own soft drink as we weren't sure if they sold them i would definitely go here again Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I haven't had an Indian meal for a long time because of lack of appetite from illness. However I felt a bit better and decided to order from Noorjahan, after a long absence. I was not disappointed. I ordered a Lamb Saag, Lamb Jalfrezi, Peshwari Naan and Pillau Rice. The food was cooked perfectly, with just the right amount of spices. The Naan was light and fluffy and every grain of rice was cooked to perfection; It was delivered on time and quickly. Well Done all at Noorjahan!
Ordered takeaway via just eat app, said it would take an hour for delivery far enough Saturday normally busy. Took two hours before it arrived after I rang up. When it did turn up, got half a bag of warmed up chips, nann had been microwaved was rock hard. Normally ok not tonight has put me off...
Original order was delayed twice and on collection was told another 20 minutes. Horrible attitude and would not admit they were at fault, so they chose to cancel our order!!! Rearranged at another takeaway in Quorn which was amazing. Will never visit here again or recommend.
This is the best curry house in Mountsorrel. The food is very good and very reasonably priced! Bonus is they always give complimentary dishes, popadoms and onion bhajis with the order. Don’t think we’ve ever had a bad takeaway from here Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
At last...a local decent curry house that tastes authentic! Good value, plenty of meat in curries and generous portions. On time and polite delivery driver. I really hope this quality is maintained as further orders are planned!
