I stopped by for a quiet drink and ended up staying for dinner. It was a lovely warm afternoon, and we found a cozy spot in the outdoor seating area. They offer a good selection of beers on tap, cocktails, and a nice wine list. We decided to share the charcoal grill mixed meat platter along with some sides, which turned out to be more than enough for two people. Every cut of meat was beautifully cooked and had a wonderful smoky flavor, and the portions of the sides were generous. The menu features a great variety of options to cater to everyone. The staff was warm and friendly, making the experience even better. It's a fantastic place to relax and enjoy a drink along with some excellent pub...
Party of four for lunch on a Saturday. Location great , outdoor seating area very nice. I ordered for myself and my wife, a pizza, a smoked brisket sandwich and a side of chips. I was informed that my order would be coming from 3 separate kitchens so may not all arrive together. The chips arrived, 10 minutes later the pizza arrived and by the time that everyone else at the table had virtually finished their meals, the brisket sandwich arrived. How hard can it be? I'd like to say that the sandwich was worth the wait but it wasn't. 1 slice of meat in a roll, packed with coleslaw etc. Not worth the asking price. Everyone else enjoyed their meals but I felt cheated. I won't b going back anytime...
Went to the bar to order and just asked "havent been here for ages, so is it food and drinks with you or do i order food somewhere else ' response was instant WELCOME BACK...and I can take your whole order....so I did feel welcome...hospitality 101 really isn 't it.....and the food was excellent and beer was cold!!!! Delicious smoked dishes served here. The staff is very friendly. This place is definitely worth a visit!
