Overall, I had a positive experience with the food, which was excellent, nicely packaged for takeout, and very well-prepared. However, I found the rolls to be smaller than what we're accustomed to back home in Harrisburg, PA. Normally, five rolls would be sufficient for our family of four, including our two young children, but this time we didn't quite feel satisfied. Each roll had about six sections instead of the eight we typically expect. While I understand that restaurants may be adjusting portion sizes post-COVID, I was hoping for a little more in terms of quantity, especially considering the total cost was over $70. The quality was outstanding, but the portion sizes were less generous...
I visited this restaurant twice last week—once for dining in and once for takeout. Both times, we ordered the nori nachos and boom boom shrimp. The nachos featured seared tuna, avocado, onion, and sauces served on crispy wonton chips. The boom boom shrimp pleasantly surprised me; they were large, fried shrimp drizzled with sauce, rather than being drenched in sauce like at some other places, which helped maintain their crispiness. For sushi rolls, I highly recommend the tsunami, Himalayan, and riptide; all were crafted perfectly! Our waiter was very friendly and answered all our questions. If you're in Ocean City and craving sushi, I definitely recommend Nori!
I can’t speak for other categories since I had delivery. I hesitate to have sushi on OC bc it’s twice the cost in regular city but I had a craving. Wow their sushi was absolutely fresh and delicious . I was so pleasantly surprised having sushi from other places in OC that was meh at best. Fresh fish is the hallmark and decent portions is the hallmark of good sushi for me and for that, they get a 5 star rating.
The food is incredible, the service is top-notch, and the prices are very reasonable for high-quality sushi. I was in town for just four days and ended up dining there twice. Celebrated my nieces birthday while vacationing in OC, this place was fantastic and deserves the great reviews! Sushi was fresh and delicious, they had some unique selections and we had a great meal! I would go back if visiting the area again!Food: 5/5
The sushi rolls were outstanding! We tried The Himalaya, The Thunder, Boom Boom Shrimp, and veggie spring rolls, all of which I would highly recommend. However, the fried chicken fried rice was a bit dry. I would definitely return to this place!
We order from here at least once every few months. Our top picks are The Boardwalk, The Riptide, and The Tuna Lovers. The sushi is consistently excellent, and we appreciate the convenience of delivery.
