We fought with two friends here, and between us three we ordered the chicken peacock, chicken chicken and chicken sanctuary (medium). Also ordered beef patents and Mac and cheese, along with the sorrel and rum. EVERYTHing at MENU WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. My two friends have never tried to eat Caribbean food, and I am glad to report that they are attached. The food was hot, the service was excellent, the portion size for the paid price was appropriate. We just moved into the street and we are so excited to be close to such an amazing restaurant.
I loved my first experience at Norma G?s. The owner is such a nice man and wonderful server/bartender. He was kind to all of the patrons and extremely hospitable. The building is clean and inviting. Tried the jerk chicken and oxtail tacos. PHENOMENAL. Both meats were tender and juicy. Also had the doubles. They are quite large and filling. I loved the flavors of the curry. I also tried the hot sauce. Bought two bottles! I don?t live close to Norma G?s, but it?s worth the trip. Would love to introduce this to friends.
The food at this restaurant is consistently fantastic and the staff are all incredibly attractive. I particularly enjoy the chicken and beef dishes. Today, when I picked up my order, there was a mistake and the kitchen staff hurried out in the rain to my car on the street to correct it and bring me the correct food. I was very impressed by this gesture and grateful for their excellent customer service. This is one of my top restaurants in Detroit and I highly recommend it!
I finally got to enjoy my favorite Doubles, again @normagscuisine ???? The food was amazing, made with love and flavorful. Great atmosphere and the owner Lester was really kind and made sure everyone was okay. Please stop by and try them. I don't think you'll be disappointed. found this Caribbean restorer before visiting Stephen Marley concert. Fantastic food, service atmosphere and vibe. The Curry Goat, Patties, Streetfood and Mango Custard were all beautifully prepared. The service was announced. Thank you for coming to our table to meet my Jamaican man. Thank you for enjoying us with the salmon. Can't wait to go again!
This Caribbean restaurant is my absolute favorite! I can't get enough of their delicious and unique sorrel martini. The doubles were a must-try and the jerk wings and rum ice are always a hit. The chicken curry is fantastic and the Chicken Pelau had a great taste. I prefer the appetizers over the entrees.
I ate with a friend for lunch. Picked up the chicken and waffles. The waffles were great light and fluffy the kind you would always want. Chicken was alright. While I did enjoy it. There wasn't anything special with it. If you go make sure you get one of their drinks. They are amazing.
This place is a true gem for anyone craving Trini or Caribbean food. I highly recommend getting Doubles as an appetizer and you can't go wrong with any of the entrees. I really enjoyed the plantain sides too! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
