We went on a double date to North City Bistro on a recent Friday night and had a lovely time enjoying dinner and the show. The food is delicious and shareable (crispy Brussel sprouts, sautéed sea scallops, Mac and cheese, meat and cheese plate) and the live music was terrific. Yes, it can get lively (a little loud) but it is pleasant and in an intimate setting. There are about a dozen tables in front near the band where you can enjoy the show. My family and I recently came in for a celebration and we had an amazing experience. The owners came by and made sure everyone in our large party was well taken care of. The food was amazing. I had the fish and chips and I absolutely loved how delicious the fish was. There was live music playing and the ambience was perfect. 10/10 would recommend! I will be looking into having them cater a future event.
The great: music was really nice and the atmosphere very classy. Not so great: hashbrowns were both undercooked and singed and whole dish was bland. Great live music every other Sunday morning-afternoon. High quality menu for great prices. Why go to a dinner when you can have better food and a great atmosphere. Love this place. beautiful cool atmosphere for a small place. lots of alcohol available. great live music, oh, and eating is not bad either. a little expensive, but what is not when you get out today. I'll probably be back.
I don't think it was my first time in this hidden gem. authentic atmosphere, delicious food, great variety of wine and spirits and world-class music. what more do they need to have a perfect night out!
