North Italia is one of my favorite restaurants in King of Prussia. I love their modern take on classic Italian dishes. I absolutely dig the interior decor, there are beautiful household plants all over. The Sicilian margarita which was very delicious. The bartender at this restaurant always makes the best drinks. For an appetizer nothing beats the grilled bread. It has olive oil and balsamic drizzled on top. I ordered Glazed short rib cavatelli for dinner. The creamy Parmesan sauce mixes beautifully with each bite of short rib. The breadcrumbs on top and the pasta were the perfect amount of texture. I highly recommend this dish. Our server Aaron was great. Very attentive and informative. The eggplant and mozzarella appetizers were good. However, the meal itself was just ok. My seasonal vegetable salad was basically greens and not as much of the vegetables mentioned on the menu. The salmon and chicken Parmesan was just ok, nothing to rave about. The short rib dish was a little fatty but flavorful. My girlfriends and I meet regularly and try different places. This place was not worth the price. We had better Italian at maggianos.
The place is great. Was there for brunch. The only issue I have is that the last 2 times we dines, they didn't get the timing right on the food. If a dish calls for a poached egg, make sure its not the first item in the order completed because by the time it makes its way to the table, the egg is no longer poached having been place under the warming lamps...Last time it was the bronzino.
The shrimp in our shrimp scampi was delicious. However, the sauce was a little thin. Much thinner than what we are used to as it is our go to dish that we split during lunch. Also, the farm salad was mostly cabbage with very little cheese. We’ve had the salad multiple times and this time it just seem to be off our server. We’ve dinned at North Italia before but this last visit was our best one yet. Our waitress Elaine was an absolute pleasure. She stayed on top of our drink and food orders, had great recommendations and continued to check in. The food is always good here, the eggplant is so good, perfectly spicy! Needless to say we’ll be back, and we’ll be asking for Elaine.
Me my best friend try to come here as much as possible, amazing food, incredible drinks, the bartender, Christian, is one of the best i’ve ever seen. Fast, friendly service. Great personality can craft an incredible drink. He always goes above beyond for us all the other patrons at his bar.
Staff was super nice and helpful. Ambiance was fresh and modern. The food was amazing. I would definitely come back to try other things. Downside: the bathrooms were gross and water was everywhere.
Needs some updates to the conditions of the booth seats and the bathroom doors. Please keep the place looking clean. This can turn done guests off.Free bread of some kind would be a nice addition. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Yummy food at this Italian eatery, many food and drink choices. Fabulous place to meetup with some good friends. Definitely returning next time…Sparkling Rosé Sangria to top off the brunch.
