Thankful for Happy Cow. Visiting North Bay and Hppy Cow pointed us to this wholly vegan restaurant. Friday lunch hour was packed but service was efficient and turnover quick. Had the Reuben sandwich and garden salad. The attention to detail was incredible. Elements of savoury, rich, crunchy, tart on fresh vegan dark rye. OMG so good. Ambiance is vintage chachka meets shabby chic set in an Art Deco era diner. Cash only
I absolutely love this restaurant! I tried the coconut eggplant curry and the orange almond chai, and they both tasted amazing (the chai was so good that I finished it before I even remembered to take a picture). The food exceeded my expectations and I am very impressed! The staff members were all very friendly, and I will definitely return if I am ever in North Bay again.
This place was unexpectedly amazing. We were the first customers on a Sunday and the diner filled up quickly. My husband had the Hershel bagel and I had the eggless Benedict. We were both so pleased with our food. My portion size was large and the dressing on the salad was spectacular. This place has amazing food and really cool vibe and decor.
We have visited North Bay several times and each time we have gone to North Star Diner. Sometimes we even travel specifically to visit them. They are excellent for dining in and are very kid-friendly. They also offer great take-out options. I adore the decor and overall atmosphere, and the food is consistently fantastic. this is the sweetest vegan restaurant! the aesthetic is unique and cool, I want to live there. their deserts are ridiculously large, spectacular and delicious. the not dessert servier sizes are somewhat small for the price they pay, but they are really delicious. really fun and delicious drinks.
A lovely little place with great treats and stellar drinks. It’s definitely a great addition to North Bay. You can tell that the owner, staff and clientele alike have put a lot of heart into it.
Incredible! The ambiance is very unique and cozy. The food was delicious and healthy - we ordered a large salad and the butter cauliflower. We will definitely be returning!
