This is probably the only Chinese restaurant on Plandome Rd. The food is pretty good, but it's quite expensive, which sometimes leads me to look for cheaper alternatives. Even when I call ahead, I often end up waiting a long time. The woman who takes the orders frequently seems irritated, even when I make a simple order. I’m not sure what I might have done to bother her; perhaps she just doesn’t take a liking to me for some reason. All I do is place my order, pay, say thank you, and leave. In the summer, it becomes unbearably hot inside with no fan or air conditioning, and in the winter, it’s freezing. I ordered the bone-in spare ribs combo, and I was shocked to find only two ribs in the container when I got home. It was unbelievable! When I called the restaurant to discuss the issue, they responded with an attitude. If I could give them zero stars, I would, but since that's not an option, I had to settle for one star.
The food at this restaurant was the most disappointing Chinese cuisine I have encountered in my 55 years. If there is a gold standard for Chinese food, this place didn’t even come close to earning a bronze. Regardless of the price, the quality was simply the worst.

The steak was incredibly tasty, and I also tried the roasted carrots, which were delightful. This quaint little restaurant has a lot of charm. Although the menu is somewhat limited, the food is outstanding, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Best Wok offers a generous serving of wonton soup packed with plenty of wontons! The food is consistently delicious, and orders are prepared incredibly quickly. As a frequent visitor, I truly believe this is the best Chinese restaurant in Manhasset.
