When my food finally arrived, I decided to hold off on my review until after tasting it. The service was impressive; my server, Kay, was very attentive. I mentioned that I was in a bit of a rush, and she made sure to expedite my meal. I ordered a seafood combo boil with one pound of snow crab legs and a half pound of headless shrimp. The presentation was great, but unfortunately, the food lacked flavor. The sauce billed as “Bomb Triple Hot” turned out to be watery and bland.
After I mentioned this to Kay, she quickly brought me a bowl of a more flavorful sauce that was delicious. The issue was that my food hadn't been cooked in it, so I had to mix it in and let it simmer to absorb the flavo...
I visited this restaurant for the first time after a friend's recommendation, and I had a great experience. The staff were warm and welcoming. I ordered the catfish basket with sweet potato fries and the shrimp basket with regular fries. Portion sizes are very important to me, and I was very happy with what I received. The shrimp were large and perfectly cooked, while the fish was tasty. The sweet potato fries were excellent, although the regular fries were just decent. One suggestion I have for similar places is to offer a combo basket option. I’ll definitely be returning!
Good experience at Not Just Crab. They started the meal with some complimentary toasted butter bread with old bay sprinkles. Me and my boyfriend both ordered seafood boils and they were well seasoned and delicious. We originally were going to get a half lb of crab each, but was told that a single cluster was offered with the half lb so we opted for a full lb of crab (2 clusters). My first time at Not Just Crab and I enjoyed it a lot. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because of how long we had to wait to order and for our food. We were told that they were very short-handed, so the wait was expected, just unfortunate that it was such a long wait. I got a boil with shrimp, crab legs and a lobster tail. The food was good HOWEVER THE SERVICE HAS TRASH ! Took over 1 hour to get a kids pizza, took over 1.5 hour to get a shrimp basket, got the wrong order To My take 3 times. The waiter put my sea food boil as individual orders like a dummy . The drinks were the last thing to arrive at our table. Like what!!! The food at this restaurant is outstanding! Upon arrival, the server covers the table with paper and presents you with a plate of sliced bread seasoned with Cajun spices. I opted for the fried catfish platter, which came with coleslaw and hush puppies on the side. The catfish was fantastic—perfectly cooked and not overly greasy or coated. Although the server was busy, they were incredibly friendly. I’ll definitely be returning for another meal!
I wasn't a fan of catfish until I tried it at this restaurant, and I have to say, it's the best I've ever had. It's perfectly seasoned and fried, always served crisp and hot. I really enjoyed it. I've celebrated two birthdays here, and the staff is incredible. They were very attentive to our needs, and the food is delicious. I also tried the seafood boil, which is a favorite, and the wings.
The food was enjoyable, but the service was lacking. It took nearly an hour for the server to come to our table to take our order, and then I waited about 45 minutes just to receive my drink. I only ordered some onion rings, and that took a long time to arrive as well. I’m not sure if they were short-staffed or if the service was simply slow.

I absolutely love this place! It's both a restaurant and a club, which is fantastic. The family-friendly atmosphere makes it special. I've been there twice, and everything I've tried has been excellent. Plus, the service is consistently outstanding.
