The server only came to the table to take and deliver our initial beverage orders, serve our food, and bring the check. She never came to check on us for drink refills or see if we needed anything else. Three members of our party ordered crab cake entrees and the potato wedges for each meal came to the table very dark brown and or black from being overcooked. We couldn't believe that she brought those meals to the table without saying anything. We don't plan to return.
server was not attentive, she had to crash down and she rarely looked after us. drinking were not well sweetened (sangria and old fashioned) crab cake arrived burned on the floor and kartoffels were over season; when I got a replacement, crabcakes and carrots undercooked. she gave us the bill without offer to take something off, so we paid and not plan, ever again.
We went there for New Year's Eve, and I think Not Your Average Joe's can easily be considered one of our top three favorite restaurants. Our server, Norah, was fantastic with her suggestions and provided great service. The gluten-free bread and carrot cake were the best I've ever had. Our entrées were delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our high chair seats.

our server did not take any notes while we had ordered us so that additional condiments had to be requested again. we waited one because for the initial water, and the brot was served near the end of the meal. the most disturbing at a beautiful 60-degree day, it was cold in the restaurant to free.
I have appreciated their attention to the necessity of gluten-free foods! my gravy is a serious zöliakiekind and her eating can not be contaminated by gluten at all! They know of course how to serve properly, uncontaminated food! she had a fabulous meal!
