I usually do not write reviews unless I am overly impressed by the services! This is my second review and I am really happy to share it for this place as my experience was really great! I just tried to surprise a friend with birthday contracts that went to the family after COVID. It was especially since I tried to place the order from Canada and my credit card was not accepted online or in any other business. After I was frustrated by 6 different places and nobody could help me with my order. I had an order online today on thanksgiving called them and said I would be there 25 minutes before closing. When I got there they were closed and I did not get my order. I understand that workers want to go home on thanksgiving, but this is not a family run company it is a franchise. You choose to work there and you should follow the guidelines and schedule. I used to run restaurants no matter how badly employees wanted me to close the store early because of holidays I didn’t. We have hours and operations listed so customers know when they can come by. So did this company have their hours and operations listed on thanksgiving but, they chose not follow it.
Ordered a white chocolate raspberry cake for my birthday. When I got home and cut into it there was very little raspberry and it was all condensed at the bottom leading to a very bland cake that tasted nothing like raspberry. For $35 I would not recommend anyone order their cake unless it’s just plain. This is the second time this has happened ordering the same cake, I guess that’s my fault for thinking it would be better.
For my daughters birthday, I ordered a decorated birthday cake online. When my husband went to pick it up, it was pouring rain outside. He asked who looked like a supervisor for an extra bag or anything to protect the cake from the rain. Instead of helping, she told him to simply take his jacket off and cover the cake. How rude and unhelpful. The cake was very nice but I won't be ordering again anytime soon.
I came in and placed an order for 12 Bundtinis. When I got to the birthday party and we opened the box there was a huge bug on one of the bunts. 1 was turned over in the box. Unfortunately, it took them 20 minutes to give us the order, so this was a complete waste of time.
Gluten free option was super tasty, and the gluten filled ones also disappeared very quickly so I assume they tasted good as well. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the line was moving quickly. We'll definitely be back!
I absolutely adore this restaurant! I remember when they first opened their doors. It's great to see the 3 or 4 shops they have now. They are such a lovely family. Thank you for all the delightful treats over the years!
The store in Walnut Creek is small but cute. Decorated for the holidays. I did enjoy the choco chip cake I got, but I wish they had non frosted options. The cashier was kind.
I go to this place regularly to get their bundinies. It's not awesome but good packaging and attractive
