My boyfriend and I brought my dad here for a belated birthday/father's day gift. We had a fabulous experience! The entire staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is smallish, but has a comfortable and intimate feeling, rather than a cramped feeling. The food was divine! The menu is seasonal; I believe ours was labeled as the June-August menu. I am not sure how much changes season to season. I had the nduja pizza. The crust was perfection; soft and chewy in the middle, puffed up and slightly crisper on the edges. My wife and I have visited about 5 times over the past few months. The staff is always friendly, and well versed in the menu. The menu changes seasonally and they are happy to make a recommendation and describe the flavor of a new dish. The food is always amazing and plated beautifully. In addition the cocktails might be enough to to draw you in on their own. A great list of signatures, and always trying new things. Both food and beverage, they seem to always try and be creative, deliver on amazing flavors, and keep you wanting to return for the friendly atmosphere. I cant recommend them enough and hope everyone stops in for a bite.
Everything about this place is 5 star. From the promptness of the reservation, the service and ambiance. But was even more exceptional was the food. The charcuterie board was so fresh and yummy. The homemade pickles ? I ordered the fungo pizza and it was very good. But the absolute highlight of the meal was the tiramasu. It was by far the best dessert I've ever had in a restaurant. Lastly, the owner is just amazing.
Absolutely one of my favorite places to go. It’s pricey but worth absolutely every penny. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Food is great and the service is excellent. The best tiramisu I’ve ever had! Seriously amazing!The pizza was great with high quality, fresh ingredients. We tried 3 pizzas and each member of our party had a different favorite.We also tried the sweet n sour pork belly appetizer and it was melt in ur mouth amazingWill definitely come back here again and would recommend 10/10!
Having been here many times, I have consistently been astounded by the quality of service from the staff, and the caliber of the food here. Whether it is pasta, pizza, or italian-inspired appetizers, everything served here is something that I will make sure to bring visitors to experience when they come to St Louis area.
We had a wonderful meal. Although reservations are mandatory (we did not know), we were seated very quickly at the bar. Food was amazing and the service, top notch. The pizza was delicious and it was served cut or uncut. I chose uncut and had fun using a knife and fork to eat it.
One of our favorite restaurants, but you need to make reservations well in advance because they are only open a few nights a week. Huge wood fired pizza oven for Sicilian style pizzas. I have been here twice now. The food is delicious. The entrees are good but this restaurant really shines in its pizza and appetizers. I personally really enjoyed the Calamari Pirata and the Italiano Pizza. I love the decor, and the service has been fantastic.
