My husband and I were driving through the area and were in need of a quick lunch. When entering the establishment we were very surprised by the different areas with the hotel- gorgeous beer garden outside, bistro and a steak house. We chose to eat in the bistro and were promptly greeted by a lovely staff member who told us how and where to order etc.The menu was a typical pub menu, not a huge selection of menu options, but your usual suspects were all there- parmas, steaks, schnitzel, burgers, pasta. Read some really good reviews about the steakhouse at the Notting Hill Hotel and liked what we read. Attended last night and was really pleased with the great service. The Notting Hill is a large complex with numerous seperate eating areas and the Steakhouse is a seperate restaurant on its own.Started with garlic bread and I went for the scotch fillet whilst the husband had the porterhouse. Both were cooked exactly as requested and I had greens on the side. Both our meals were lovely and the sticky date pudding was a lovely ending to a really nice meal.The steakhouse is a lovely restaurant with great service and really good food. Worth the trip.
This place is a TARDIS bigger on the inside than the outside. Just passing it looks like just a small pub on the corner BUT not so once in side the place opens up there is a large outdoor beer garden great in the summer and after that a very cosy enclosed eatery with lots of table and chairs a roaring fire to keep away the night chill the food choice was as expected for a bistro but still plenty of choice all in all a great place for the family to have a feed. AND they have big screen TV showing the footy live.
I was here for a business lunch with 10 people. The food was of a high standard and the lunchtime menu was varied. The majority of the team had steaks which were excellent. I had the paella which was equally amazing. Prices were a little on the high side for lunchtime dining, but the food and the service warranted the price. The only minor negative was the time the food took to arrive, however we were a big group and the service was very good (and apologised for the delay).

It was suggested by all 8 of my friends after dinning that we really should write a positive review as the food was exceptional and you could not fault the service. So friendly, happy and professional. All eight of us have been here before but i can say although we enjoyed everything last time, it just keeps getting better. Well done the whole team at the Notting Hill Hotel… We are all looking forward to coming back.
We had a brilliant night at the monthly comedy show last night (Tommy Little). Meals came up quickly, they had a great $20 steak special on and comedy was hilarious. Highly recommend the pot of mussels, the steaks and the crispy chicken burger. Bar service friendly and speedy. I've heard good things about their Steak Restaurant too. Do yourself a favour, get along to the next comedy night!
Hubby and I had a date night here at the steak house. Food was well sized, delicious and priced appropriately. Hubby enjoyed his furphy beer and me a glass of bubbly. Staff said and did everything they were supposed to and with smile. Owning my own place I tend to make some allowances for places as I know what it's like, however in this instance no allowances were needed! Great night out.
Place is an old time favourite with Monash university students. Has been done up and there is a a great Steak house on site. Prices are not cheap but given the quality well worth the visit. As good as any in the city. Chicken parma was also very good. All inside the steakhouse. Have not tried the bistro yet. Will do next time.

We've been to the Nott twice this week. Awesome outdoor space for family friendly catch ups. The steak house is a fabulous addition to this pub. Highly recommended. Great service and top notch steaks. We'll be back for sure!
I ate in the bistro twice while working in the area. Food was good and reasonably priced. Atmosphere was good and looked to be an after work crowd. The main bar was quiet with a few locals present.
