My son went in today to order a small donair, no toppings, no sauce for lunch for me for my birthday. He got it home and gave it to me only to find out it was loaded with toppings and sauce!!!!!! Nova Deli I should not have to throw out the pita bread and wash off my donair meat thoroughly before I can eat it without bread. Not happy at all and my son was upset his surprise for my birthday was ruined!!! We have been in many times before but this will be the last unless you straighten up and start paying attention to your customer's orders!!!!!
Never let down with this place. You want a Donair, you need it from here if you aren't down east. You got like 7 options from Donair wraps small to beastie! Or a salad in one size. Service has always been good, friendly. Yes updates would improve the atmosphere, but it is not a restaurant, it is a counter to pick up a great meal. I go back when ever I can
I went to get a takeout order of donairs to assemble at home, as it's a fair drive, but they "don't do that anymore".That's really too bad, because they have lost many sales by stopping this. I promptly went next door to Golden Chicken.The donairs are delicious, but I prefer to assemble them myself when I get home. Oh well.
My sons and grandsons really enjoy it. The food is authentic from the East Coast. The Trenton store only offers takeout, while the Belleville location has the option to dine in or take out. This small take-out restaurant offers delicious Atlantic Canadian 'Halifax Donairs' that are smothered in a delicious sauce. The toppings are plentiful and the pita wrap is soft and tasty. Just a heads up - you'll need both hands to enjoy this meal!
We love the Nova Deli, the donairs are wonderful, service is fabulous too! I had never had donairs before now we go at least once a month or more. Sauces can be ordered on the side for a less messy wrap.
Great Halifax style Donairs but make sure to ask for extra napkins and wet naps. Also probably not the best thing to eat in the car or before a business meeting.

Food is great and specials are worth checking out. A little disappointed that the side dip sauce ( it's great ) but way too small for a full meal.
