When my order was ready, they handed me a cheesesteak pizza. I was visibly upset because I had waited 25 minutes and paid much more than I should have for a cheesesteak sandwich. The two employees assured me they would prepare a cheesesteak sub quickly, so I went over the order again and emphasized "mozzarella cheese only."
When I got home and opened the box, I found a cheesesteak sub with American cheese instead. I ended up throwing it away, wasting $39 in total. I am officially done with Nunzio Pizzeria in Scotch Plains. I never understood why the place was often empty, despite the food being quite good. Now I realize it's poorly managed, which is a shame.
The food here is incredible—definitely one of my favorite places to eat! You have to try the wings; they have such amazing flavor. I completely recommend this place! Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious! The service is great too, and the staff is always friendly.
I’ve had their food in the past and it was very very good. I ordered pizza tonight and it was absolutely amazing!!! Best pizza I’ve had in a long time. The restaurant is clean, the people are friendly and the food is excellent!!!
Something has changed at Nunzio’s with their kitchen meals. I’ve been stopping here for years on my truck route for lunch or a dinner meal. Pizza is ok but the prepared kitchen meals just don’t taste like they used to.
