When I take a trip to Braunwald, my destination is always Nussbüel. The hike from the village there is wonderful, then the welcome in the restaurant is lovely. A poem is of course the fine Rösti with bratwurst, for dessert the homemade Gugelhupf with cream or the meringues. I will definitely plan a trip there again.
The Nussbüel restaurant is definitely worth a short hike. Very fine local products and a very friendly team. The view from the terrace is simply worth a visit again and again.
One of the most beautiful spots on earth and unchanged since my childhood!! Highly recommended!
